Season 2, Episode 9
Getting your share of the market- how to get started with investing
with Emilie Bellet
The gender investing gap is real. Women typically retire with less money than their male counterparts.
When you factor in that women are more likely to take time off work to care for their family and have a more cautious attitude to investing money, as well as the gender pay gap, it’s easy to see how this chasm is created.
My guest today is Emilie Bellet, founder of Vestpod, the online platform with a mission to financially empower women by teaching them how to take control of their finances and how to make their money work for them through investing.
When it comes to investing, I’ve personally found the subject confusing and didn’t know where to start. In this episode, Emilie shares so many great resources for how we can start seeking to grow your money, how we can open up the conversation around personal finances, and how we can build a positive money mindset.
